When we sent out that URGENT call to prayer we said 2 critical things:
Critical Thing #1:
When you get busy with the things near and dear to the heart of our God, HE will also get busy removing the hidden barriers and obstacles of your life.
Sister Eunice, one of the prayer eagles who is participating, says:
“Its unbelievable how God starts to open doors, release His peace, realign things in one’s life as soon as you take praying for Israel seriously as a daily burden. I am so blessed and honored to be part of this.”
Critical Thing #2:
At the bottom of the original post (see below) there was a little PS and it said:
“If we keep up this prayer for the next 7 days, this issue will be resolved temporarily.
For this to be permanently resolved, it will require something else entirely.”
Praise the LORD.
On the 4th day of the conflict, they called a ceasefire.

It was Monday, Nov 12, 2012.
A prayer warrior (in the 24-hour blog)
fell asleep on her sitting room couch.
All of a sudden she had a dream.
A very vivid dream.
And it had to do with the Middle East.
Hear her:
I fell asleep on the couch of my sitting room on Monday the 12th of November and I had a dream of trouble in the Middle East.
It was very vivid and Israel had ‘looked for trouble’ so to speak, attacking a neighboring Arab country. Other Arab countries now joined the battle.
Somehow, the U.S and U.K were reluctantly drawn in to this conflict; there were helicopters flying low and hovercrafts in the water.
We were all affected somehow. When I woke up about an hour later I prayed about this dream.
On Wednesday the 14th of November, I heard that Israel had killed the Hamas leader Ahmed al-Jabari which has lead to escalating violence on both sides.
Talks are being held by the Arab league and they are thinking about intervening for the first time. Let’s pray fervently for peace in the Middle East. Peace in the rest of the world largely depends on it.
Remain vigilant, spiritually and physically and remain blessed.”

Psalm 122 v 6 tells us:
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
Every believer has a duty to stand in the gap and lift up prayer for Israel at this difficult moment.
Surrounded by a multitude of enemies round about, who have never hidden their desire to wipe out this tiny nation of less than 5 million people, Israel is at a great physical disadvantage.
But as a nation under COVENANT it has a spiritual covering that her enemies cannot even begin to fathom.
In this particular conflict, even though both sides may well share some blame for the escalation of violence, no one in their right minds would deny Israel’s right to defend herself, her citizens and all that she stands for.
In spite of the reporting in the media, which tend to be one-sided, Israel appears to have gone to great length in exercising restraint, waiting until over 760 rockets had been fired into its territory before launching a counter attack.
What’s Going On Here?
When you look closely in the Scripture, you will begin to get a sense of what’s going on here—
Yet you have not called on Me, O Jacob;
But you have become weary of Me, O Israel.
Rather you have burdened Me with your sins,
You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions
for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.
- Isa. 43:22,24b, 25
Besides forgiving their sins, the LORD has promised to go even further:
But you, Israel, My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
Descendant of Abraham My friend,
You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth,
And called from its remotest parts
And said to you, ‘You are My servant,
I have chosen you and not rejected you.
‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
“Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored;
Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.
“You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them,
Those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.
“For I am the LORD your God, who upholds your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
- Isa 41:8-13
Clearly, the God who created the heavens and the earth has Israel’s back.
It is left for you and me to call upon HIM on the behalf of Israel, in this time of crisis.
So How Am I Praying for Israel?
Based on the Scriptures I’ve shared above, my prayer is that –
- The LORD will forgive Israel her sins and transgressions
- He will remember His covenant promises and arise to her help.
- The LORD will comfort those that have lost their loved ones in this conflict.
- In the midst of this crisis, the hearts of the people will be turned back to God.
- Those that have gathered against Israel should be scattered unto desolation
- Those that are incensed against Israel will be ashamed and confounded
- The LORD will command deliverance for Israel; and shame and confusion to her enemies.
- Let peace be restored to Israel in particular, and to the region in general, in Jesus’ mighty name.
(Note: this small sample is culled from the Scriptures above – more will be posted on the 24-hour blog shortly).
Here’s one of these prayers in bullet format:
“O God arise and deliver your people Israel from the hands
of their enemies in the mighty name of Jesus.”
For those who are new here, this kind of prayer should be prayed with a holy cry unto the LORD.
Meaning…
You rise up like a warrior, with your hands lifted up to heaven, and shout it out with fire and power… over and over again.
Another translation of Psalm 122 v 6 that we read above says:
“Pray fervently for the Shalom of Jerusalem. They that love you will have security.”
The word Shalom may be translated “peace” in your Bible.
But the Hebrew meaning goes way beyond that.
According to one commentary:
“Shalom is not just the absence of conflict. It also means no good thing will be withheld. So there is sufficient food and every other material need. No sickness, no abuse, no stress.”
Now is the time for you as a believer to arise and pray FERVENTLY for the Shalom of Jerusalem.
For a moment let us all leave our problems behind and heed this global call to prayer …
… for the Shalom of Israel.
(As far as God is concerned, this could be the most important prayer you pray this year).
As you do this, the LORD Himself will ensure that Shalom, healing and restoration will BECOME your portion this year in Jesus’ precious name.
This Prayer Cannot Wait…
It would require a minimum of 15 minutes of your precious time… daily.
Of course if you can see things through the eyes of the Spirit for a moment, you will gladly devote even 1 hour to this prayer.
It is that important. .. and urgent.
As you pray, you will “see” the LORD arise on the behalf of Israel in the days ahead.
This is a prayer of faith.
It is also a prayer of agreement.
I am sending it to tens of thousands in over a hundred countries.
I’ll encourage you to be part of this global call to prayer, and join the army of undercover prayer eagles … crying out to the Lord … in agreement at the same time. Especially at the midnight hour.
NOTE: As I’ve pointed out previously on this blog God can very well do His work without any of us.
You are reading this because HE wants you to be a partaker of the blessings that HE is about to pour out on those who are willing and obedient.
He says:
“If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land: But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.” – Isa 1:19-20
Say this: the enemy will not talk me out of my portion in Jesus’ name.
Because …
When you get busy with the things near and dear to the heart of our God, HE also gets busy removing the hidden barriers and obstacles of your life.
Friend, this is the WAY to touch heaven and provoke divine intervention in the season we’re in today.
You can either opt in or opt out. The choice is yours.
JESUS said:
“He who is not with Me is against Me;
and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” – Matt.12:30.
Enough said.
It is time to pray!

When i had about missiles landing in Israel,i remembered the dream the Lord shown me sometimes last month.It was about how Iran has put missiles on the mountains ready to strike Israel if they strike their nuke facilities.I have prayed to God several times on these issues and the Lord has kept His word to protect the state of Israel.
I asked the Lord to send forth angels of war to protect His chosen people and to cover all avenue the enemy was using to conduct there evil rocket firing to the state of Israel without provocation.
It’s my prayers that all people of good will to the Jewish people to continue to pray for victory to the children of Jacob.The Lord said those who curse Israel will be cursed and those who will bless them shall be blessed.

Dear Elisha, thanks for pointing out the need to pray for Israel at this critical time. I have always prayed for Israel leaning on God’s promise to bless those who bless Israel and to curse those who curse Israel. But now I shall be praying this prayer even more fervently:-

1 Contend/ Fight, LORD, with those who contend/ fight with the nation of Israel;
fight against those who fight against her.
2 Take up shield and armor;
arise and come to Israel’s aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin
against those who pursue her.
Say to the nation of Israel right now,
“I am your salvation.”
4 May those who seek to destroy Israel in battle and conflict
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot her ruin
be turned back in dismay in the mighty name of Jesus.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 Since they have hid their net for Israel without cause
and without cause dug a pit for her,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin, and may Israel see the reward of the wicked With her very own eyes in Jesus’ name.
9 Then her soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.
10 Israel’s whole being will exclaim WITHOUT FAIL,
“Who is like you, LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them.”
11 Ruthless witnesses come forward;
they question Israel on things she know nothing about.
12 They repay her evil for good
and leave her like one bereaved.
13 Yet when they were ill, Israel put on sackcloth
and humbled herself with fasting.
15 But now Israel’s enemies have gathered in glee against her;
assailants gathered against her without her knowledge.
They slandered her without ceasing.
16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mock her;
they gnash at Israel with their teeth.
17 How long, Lord, will you look on?
Rescue Israel from their ravages,
my precious life from these lions God who is mighty to save!
18 Israel will give you thanks in the great assembly;
among the throngs she will praise you because your arm is not too short to save!
19 Do not let those gloat over Israel who are her enemies without cause;
do not let those who hate Israel without reason
maliciously wink the eye.
20 They do not speak peaceably,
but devise false accusations
against those who live quietly in the land.
21 They sneer at Israel and say, “Aha! Aha!
With our own eyes we have seen it.”
22 LORD, you have seen this; do not be silent.
Do not be far from Israel, Lord as we stand in the gap for her in prayer.
23 Awake, and rise to Israel’s defense!
Contend for God, her God and Lord.
24 Vindicate Israel in your righteousness, LORD our God;
do not let her enemies in the Middle East or anywhere else gloat over Israel.
25 Do not let them think, “Aha, just what we wanted!”
or say, “We have swallowed her up, in the name of Jesus.”
26 May all who gloat over Israel’s distress
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who exalt themselves over Israel right now,
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
27 May those who delight in her vindication
shout for joy and gladness;
may they always say, “The LORD be exalted,
who delights in the well-being of his servant.”
28 Israel’s tongue will proclaim your righteousness,

Elisha does NOT subscribe to war either. Please understand that we are calling people to pray for the PEACE of Israel. That is what the Scripture tells us to do.
I have almost ZERO interest in politics and war. You will recall that since the modern state of Israel was created in 1948, so many nations have publicly threatened and boasted that they will wipe it off the map. What you are seeing today cannot be separated from that threat. Whether you believe it or not, they are busy with that agenda day and night.
So whether there is an election coming or not, or whether the prime minister is unpopular, really is beside the point. That kind of talking point is what you get from the media. If you want to know what is happening behind the scenes, please go on a 3-day fast and ask the LORD to open your eyes and show you what to do.
Let me repeat: I am for peace, not for war. Our job is to pray for the peaceful and speedy resolution of the crisis. We also need to pray for wisdom for the leaders so they will give peace a chance. Thank you for your comments.

Am so glad this blog supports Israel. I belong to a group of intercessors called Modern Esthers and we pray for Israel in turns every day after the Lord gave us this burden at a retreat. We had gone on a retreat to pray ‘no holds barred’ as my friend put it to pray for situations in our lives that appeared to be stuck. A sister shared on the need to pray for and stand with Israel. I sensed a fiery burden being deposited in my heart, and heard the Lord say I have taken your burdens away will you pick up the burden on my heart? One sister who did not agree with the meed to pray for Israel had a dream where 2 men took her to Germany and showed her what happened during the holocaust that same night. When she woke up she was convinced that we were being mandated to pray for Israel.
I managed to attend the 25th convocation and prayer tour in September with the Jerusalem
house of prayer for all nations. There were 5 000 delegates from 140 nations.

On 23 October 2012 around 6am,I had a voice saying “what is happening now is what happened to Gaza”. Then I woke up. Since then I have been researching all the scriptures about Gaza. Its origin,who dwelt there,how and why.what happened throughout until the book of Acts 8:26 when gospel was preached in that desert land by Phillip to an Ethiopian Eunuch. Which I believe was a fulfilment of Jeremiah 33:10-13 & Jeremiah 32:42-44 which foretell about restoration of the desolate,a land that was cursed & had no revelation now receiving streams of living water,the Lord making a way for the Eunuch to know Jesus where there was no way. Also we hear in the book of Joshua that Gaza is an inheritance of the tribe of Israel. I noticed from researching internet that Gaza is a rich land again. But I dont know whether the Lord referred to the whole earth or in certain lands in this dream when He said “what is happening now is what happened to Gaza” because a lot of different things are happening in the world. If you are living in Israel, I request for you to gather [ as many the better ] join hands in prayer. Fasting and Pray continuously. Intervals with Praise and Worship then Pray [ cry to the LORD in a voice that can be heard ] Go to any higher grounds / hills /mountains if you have to, so you may call upon our Savior YESHUA HAMESHIACH freely. This is how we pray when we almost lost our land to some ‘ land vultures’ that grabbed our rights as we slept. Some 100′s of us went up the hill to pray. 2 hours session each for praise & worship, sharing GOD’s WORD for 5 continuous sessions from 8:00 pm till 06:00 am (whole night) without sleeping. Though some may have slept but the ‘Praise & Worship’ goes on …..
The results is outstanding : not only we got our land back, but the crops that was planted in our land by the ‘vultures’ was also abandoned. Praise God we are now enjoying the harvests that GOD has prepared for us. For what is GOD’s man cant take it away.

I have just been on a conference call which was hosted by pastor John Hagee where the Israeli ambassador to the US was giving an update of the situation with Gaza. 2000 people phoned in and below are the updates. some of which we know through secular media.
-thanked the Christians for their support through prayer and speaking out for Israel
-Israel has caused major damage to the terrorists so far
-will continue to pursue and exhaust all diplomatic avenues for a cease fire
-will only escalate to ground combat if all falls
-reluctant to do this due to the dangers involved

-Iron Dome has been very effective -90% effective – has stopped and defused 400 rockets

So How Am I Praying for Israel?
Based on the Scriptures I’ve shared above, my prayer is that –
- The LORD will forgive Israel her sins and transgressions
- He will remember His covenant promises and arise to her help.
- The LORD will comfort those that have lost their loved ones in this conflict.
- In the midst of this crisis, the hearts of the people will be turned back to God.
- Those that have gathered against Israel should be scattered unto desolation
- Those that are incensed against Israel will be ashamed and confounded
- The LORD will command deliverance for Israel; and shame and confusion to her enemies.
- Let peace be restored to Israel in particular, and to the region in general, in Jesus’ mighty name.

– Surely the Lord God shall save Israel from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence, in Jesus Christ name!
– The Lord shall cover Israel with His mighty feathers, in Jesus Christ name!
– Israel shall find refuge in the mighty wings of our Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name!
– Israel shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day, in Jesus, name!

A Prayer for Israel
O Lord heaven is your dwelling place and the earth your foot stool. You give unto whom you want to give and no body queries You. You gave unto Israel a land you promised Abraham and indeed You fulfilled your promise because You are not a liar. Your children Israel lived in sin and disobedience and therefore they were banished from the land of their inheritance, BUT Lord you promised to bring back the remnants of the captives of Israel which you did in 1948. While Israel was in captivity, strangers came and occupied their land and possessed it. They refused to accept Israel, let alone recognize her even today. LORD IN YOUR ALMIGHTINESS, ARISE AND RESTORE ALL THE PARCEL OF LAND TO ISRAEL AS PROMISED AND DEMARCATED IN THE BIBLE, EVEN BETHLEHEM OF JUDEA THE BIRTH PLACE OF JESUS THE CHRIST, AMEN

Mails from Mike Evans, he is the Ambassador for the Jerusalem Prayer Center, & he was saying how much he enjoyed working their doing Gods Work, yet their was Monies needed, to help Pay for The Prayer Center, It came to the Last Day when The Debt incurred to pay for Everything was due…,& now that Miracle that Mike & Partners & Friends were all Praying for…..has come to Pass… The Debt has been Payed, Praise God, talk about “last Moment” we can all say Hallelujah Praise God, Amen. Israel needs our Prayers so Desperately,and if you can ,please send what you can. It’s been a Very hard Winter so Mike says,and people our finding it harder to Keep Warm,…Love & Light, they bring Insight…Think Of Others & your own Problems will Fade Away…Hope you can Help…. henry
