(I Catch Fish Like Crazy)

 

Pro fisherman goes fishing all night.

Catches nothing.

Weary and defeated he pulls up to shore.

Only to find a huge crowd gathered.

Man walks up to him with a strange request.

What happens next is history.

But first …

What have we been up to, since the pandemic?

For the past few months I’ve been “pushing” our prayer eagles to double down on 3 things.

#1 – pray down the next spiritual awakening
#2 – pray against the virus
#3 – pray about their job (or means of livelihood)

.Let’s look at #3 closely

We’re in the thick of a global meltdown.

Also known as the Great Lockdown.

By the time the dust settles…

You can be sure about three things.

1. Millions will have lost their job.

2. Most won’t have a clue how to get another one.

3. And the experts will give them the wrong advice.

…
So our Eagles have been praying hard for new (and better jobs) even while most of the world is in lockdown.

Any results so far, you ask.

Here’s just a few out of many that came in recently.

“God came through when I was losing hope”

“I have been a silent follower of your ministry and work although I’ll admit I have struggled with consistency.

Last year in December I did enroll for prayer academy but I honestly haven’t finished it yet. I managed to storm the gates of 2020, and can see God’s hand in everything I am doing now.

One of the key prayers I had was finding a new job, I was convinced that wherever I was wasn’t a good place for me and I was starting to get really unhappy since I had to suffer a second pay cut ( previous one had been with former employer), there wasn’t much work for me to do outside providing advisory services.

I want to testify that God has indeed come through for me this year, and I will be starting my new job next week. Which to be honest, I didn’t have a shot at were it not for Gods hand, grace and favor (international contract and is home based with travel). Indeed God does answer prayer, I am so blessed by the fact that I now know how to pray.

I am recharged and will be restarting the prayer academy again, my eyes have seen, my ears have heard, the wonderful things God does for His children. He has blessed me exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ever ask or even imagine.” – Lynda K

“There are 2 other places that I used to work before and just yesterday both of them want me to come back. Brethren, to the glory of God my prayer now is for God to reveal to me which of the company He want me to work for out of the 4 companies. What a Mighty God we serve.” – Henry

Praise the LORD.

Lockdown or no lockdown, the Heaven is still open for the children of God.

However there’s one thing our prayer eagles are doing…

If you’re one of those looking for a job (or a better job) please pay attention to what I’m about to share with you.

It’s like a stool that needs three legs to stand — two are useless without the third.

 

LEG #1:
Get the Word

 

Every blessing that a Christian enjoys comes directly from the Word of God.

To receive such blessings, you need to study the Scripture and look for the promises that support what you’re asking for.

Here’s a common sense example:

You’re looking for a job. You have to eat and pay your bills. You have a family to feed. All good.

You take a look in the Bible and you found this verse in 2 Thes. 3:10:

“For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.”

Then you flip back a bit to Matt 7:11.

There you see how the Lord Jesus encouraged us to ask for things in prayer.

He concluded with this strong rhetorical question:

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

(There are hundreds more – I just pulled out these 2 for illustration).

Now you begin to pray these words back to the LORD.

You turn them into prayer bullets.

You fire them with great faith in your heart.

And suddenly, the answer appears in the form of a job.

To drive this point home … about the relationship between the Word of God and physical manifestation of divine blessings … let’s look closely at another powerful “lockdown” testimony:

“Got A Brand New Job, Paying 6 Times More – During the Lockdown”

 

“I joined Firesprings in October 2018 and l have been on every program till now… this is the climax.

In the middle of the lockdown and economic crisis I was awarded an international contract that is paying 6 times more than what I used to earn, a position I didn’t not apply for. I have already reported, where even with the airstrip lockdown l was privileged to be among those that took the flight to my new deployment.

I am so grateful to God. Upon arrival as protocol we were put on quarantine for 14 days fully paid for and still on salary on these days. I started the prayers on a high note while in isolation and gave them all the aggression required.

I can say I was not reading my Bible before I joined Prayer Academy because while here I have learnt what “really’ reading the Bible is. I am chewing the word on a daily basis. Eagles this is an area I would want to really emphasis. You have to read and be a doer of the word. Meditation and quietness is another method of victory in my dreams and also in the physical.

You can affect and destroy the spirits around your environment with the Word. I have been practicing and meditating on Psalm 1 and experienced a turnaround. I will also add that one has to promptly obey the Word.” – Betty

See? It all begins with the Word. But it doesn’t end there!

LEG #2:
Pray in a targeted manner

 

Targeted Prayer Rocks!

I know prayer can be very boring especially the way we were taught to pray in Sunday school.

Sadly, most believers have not progressed beyond that level of prayer.

The result is that they run out of things to say in 2 minutes flat.

2 minutes?

Yes, that’s how long the average church prays during a service these days.

But over here things are rather different.

Prayer is NOT boring at all.

When our prayer eagles “gather” to pray, it is fireworks all the way.

For example…

After an aggressive prayer riot just 2 weeks ago Mercy writes:

“I just want to thank God for seeing me through this Red Marker prayers. It has never been a dull moment with you and the Prayer Advisors and prayer eagles. You have made prayer interesting, beautiful and worth looking forward to doing. Thanks my beloved Eagles for standing by each other. I am changed, refreshed and ready to conquer my world and keep conquering. Remember, we are more than conqueror through Christ that Loved us. God bless you all.”

That’s how exciting prayer should be!

What we do here is:

At the midnight hour we load our prayer guns with dangerous prayer bullets and fire them relentlessly until our blessings are released.

Whether that be a job, finances, deliverance from sickness, poverty or disease.

As we pray we turn the heat way up.

Without any apologies at all.

You are NOT allowed to stop firing (i.e. praying and praying and praying) until the answer comes.

That’s a bit different from what many places teach about prayer.

And that’s OK.

To every man his own.

LEG #3:
Act promptly in the direction of your desire

 

Look, nothing happens in the realm of the spirit until something moves.

See Gen 1:1-2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters (emphasis added).

Let me repeat that statement:

Nothing happens in the realm of the spirit until something moves.

For example…

You cannot seriously be praying for a job and not be pushing out tons of job applications every day.

Many years ago when I was looking for a job, I set a standard for myself.

I would not go to bed until I sent out 50 job applications each day.

I knew someone who was sending out double that.

This is FAITH IN ACTION.

You want a job?

You go look for it. Period.

Unfortunately, many believers in our day are a bit lazy and unfocused, for lack of a better word.

They make excuses for everything.

There’s a role that prayer has to play in getting that job (or anything else for that matter).

Yet, there’s also a role that sheer physical effort has to play… both must go hand in hand.

Just 3 days ago, I read a powerful testimony in the Members’ Forum.

Eagle JS recently got a management-level job with a salary package that most people would consider quite high.

But being a seasoned prayer eagle, she knew right away she was being underpaid.

She tried to take it up but met roadblocks everywhere.

Undeterred, she went into research and discovered something quite startling.

Hear her:

“One thing that elisha emphasizes is the power / importance of ACTION.

I had reached a point that I could feel such stagnancy in my work. I felt underpaid. When I was offered the job I had, the salary range posted… I was hoping for closer to the upper end the recruiter refused to offer me more … I decided it was time for violent faith in Jesus and enough was enough.

I researched salary surveys, and looked at salary websites for different jobs with my qualifications to confirm that I was underpaid. I discovered that my job title at the time paid much less than was estimated for another title although I had an advanced degree. The duties were more or less the same. What didn’t matter was the degree or experience, but the job title. What a finding!!!

From this, I took serious steps. I changed my profile to match the job I was seeking. I paid for a professional resume for the new job title. I went to a photographer and paid for a business picture. Before I took the picture, I looked up the estimated salary for that job opening. In my mind, I was thinking of getting that job and I was smiling as if I was receiving an offer for that much.

Beloved!!! What happened next is nothing short of a miracle…”

That’s just the opening bit of her fascinating testimony.

Long story short, she got a new job with almost 60 percent increase on her already high salary (with a bigger and better organization).

All because she took the ACTION necessary.

Glory to God.

What is it that you desire… in this epidemic of fear, chaos and uncertainty?

You’ll do well to turn off the worldly news where fear-mongering is the order of the day.

Instead, connect yourself to the divine frequency of the Holy Ghost -

… by investing time to study the Scriptures, and then rising up like a hungry lion to fire your prayer bullets at the midnight hour.

… not forgetting the secret revealed by King David in Psalm 119:62:

“At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments.”

And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake…

May the LORD open our understanding in Jesus name.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

For these prayers to BRING ANY ANSWERS, you must surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are the conditions:

#1: You must be genuinely born again

If you are not, you will be putting yourself in great danger praying this kind of warfare prayers the way I’ve laid them out here.

#2: Living a holy life is non-negotiable

As soon as you read this, the Holy Spirit will bring conviction to your heart if you are living in any known sin. My advice is that you drop this material immediately, go on your knees and repent. Do not go back to your vomit.

#3: Be filled with the Spirit

You must not be a fleshly, carnal believer. Learn to crucify your flesh. A few tell-tale signs of carnal Christians are that they get angry very easily, cannot control their appetite for food or sex, always compare themselves to others, tell small white lies, gossip about everyone, etc.

#4: You must be addicted … to your Bible, that is …

Read it out loud as much as possible. Meditate on Scripture and let your actions and decisions be directed by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

As you do this you will see yourself moving quickly …

- from problem to solution
- from confusion to clarity
- from desolation to consolation
- and from fear, doubt and discouragement…

… to sharing powerful testimonies that will surprise your friends and shock your enemies.

Now we’re ready to pray.

7 Furious Prayers for June 2020

 

Scripture Ingredient: Matt. 7:7-8

   Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
    For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks    finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

1.  O LORD connect my life to your power grid in the name of Jesus.

2.  Finger of God arise and bless me with profitable employment in Jesus’ name.

3.  Every serpent in my family line lose your power and die in the name of Jesus.

4.  Let my angels of blessing arise and locate me today in the name of Jesus.

5.  O LORD in the places where they have rejected me, cause them to call me back and fall over themselves to help me in Jesus name.

6.  O gates of profitable employment, open unto me by fire in the name of Jesus

7.  Thou Spirit and Power of favor overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.
