“Sunday will mark the third day of heavy rains for much of the Front Range. According to 7News, many areas have received 2-3 inches of rain already since Friday, more than an inch could fall on Sunday and more showers are expected into Monday.
The good news: Fire danger is dramatically lower thanks to all this rain.
The bad news: Most of central Colorado is now under flood watch, according to the National Weather Service.”

Praise the LORD!
I checked the pastor’s website a few days after our call for prayers.
Here’s an excerpt from what he posted on his blog on June 29:

Yesterday was a mix of good and bad news…
Much of this improvement has been due to the two best days of weather since the beginning of the fire.
I attribute this to the prayers of people all over the world. We have had three straight days of very good rain at our house.
It’s been a soaking rain that has actually washed my driveway. It hasn’t fallen directly on the fire but the temperatures are about ten degrees cooler than the record highs and record low humidity that characterized the first few days of the fire.
The Waldo Canyon fire is still burning and very dangerous. The High Park fire in northern Colorado is a good example. It was 65% contained when the winds came up last Saturday and it jumped the containment lines destroying another 50+ homes. The same thing could still happen here.
So, we appreciate your continued prayers for rain and cooler temperatures. This will be my last daily update if things continue to improve.
I looked at some of the national coverage yesterday and it was appalling how misinformed they were. Their information was a couple of days old and they were mixing reports from other fires with this fire and it was totally misleading.
This re-enforced my conviction that if you are depending on the national news to be informed, you are really misinformed. So, if something drastic happens, I will keep you posted.

If you are watching the news you’d have heard of the monster fire that is raging in Waldo Canyon, near Colorado Springs, USA.
According to the President, half the firefighting resources of the US have been deployed to bring this humongous fire under control.
But so far, the fire has continued unabated.
Here’s something you may not know…
The Colorado Springs area is home to many powerful Christian ministries of all stripes – evangelical, pentecostal, and many others.
As a matter of fact, one of these ministries has just cancelled its popular Summer Family Bible Conference, which was to be held this weekend from July 2-6.
That’s because the ministries, like many other organizations in the area, are under mandatory evacuation.
In an email to their global audience, the pastor said something that intrigued me.
He wrote:
“GOD is well able to solve this whole situation with a good soaking rain. That’s what we are praying for. We would appreciate your agreement.”
When I read that it dawned on me that mankind has so far invented many witty technologies to do pretty much anything these days…
For instance:
We have ice-making machines…
There are machines that produce snow …
Machines exist to open up and peer into the innermost recesses of the brain, the heart and other organ of the human body…
There are technologies to send people to outer space…
As you read this, some nations are planning an expedition to mars… and other planets.
But watch this …
No technology yet exist for making rain.
What was true in ancient times is still true today.
As the ancient prophet declared:
Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain?
Do the skies themselves send down showers?
No, it is you, O Lord our God.
Therefore our hope is in you,
for you are the one who does all this.
- Jer 14:22
Today we are left to do it the old-fashioned way.
And what is the old fashioned way?
Let’s go to the Scriptures again:
“Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”
– James 5:17-18
The solution to the Waldo Canyon Fire that is currently raging as you read this is … RAIN.
A massive outpouring of abundant, wet soaking rain.
And how will that happen?
Through the prayers of the saints.
Through your prayers. And my prayers.
In agreement with all the saints of God everywhere.
There are hidden clues here…
In the midst of his fiery trials, the LORD once asked Job:
Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? – Job 38:34
The idea here is …
That it is God only who can cause rain to fall on-demand, and that the control of the clouds from which rain descends is completely beyond the reach of man and his technologies…
… at this time (maybe even forever).
But here’s the best part…
The LORD is ever ready and willing to respond to the voice of His people (even today) when we cry unto Him for rain.
This beloved pastor obviously believes that or he won’t be saying so openly.
Keep in mind that this is happening here in the USA where many intellectuals like to think that they have outgrown the need to give God the respect and honour He so rightly deserves.
Today … no, right this minute … I’d like you to join your faith with his and cry out to the LORD with this singular prayer bullet:
“Where is the Lord God of Elijah? Arise and glorify your name;
send down rain to Waldo Canyon and its environs in the mighty name of Jesus”
You need to leave all your problems behind for a moment and take this prayer with a holy shout NOW.
This prayer cannot wait…
It would require a minimum of 5 minutes of your precious time.
Of course It can take you 10 minutes. 15 minutes. Even 1 hour. As led by the Spirit.
As you pray this, I want you to “see” the LORD despatching the heavenly firefighters to the scene. See the windows of heaven being opened for the rains to come pouring down as in Genesis 7.
This is a prayer of faith. I am sending it to tens of thousands in over a hundred countries.
I’ll encourage you to be part of this global army of prayer eagles … crying out to the Lord … in agreement at the same time.
NOTE: God can very well do His work without any of us. You are reading this because HE wants you to be a partaker of the blessings that HE is about to pour out.
Say this: the enemy will not talk me out of my portion in Jesus’ name.
Because …
When you get busy with the things near and dear to the heart of our God, HE also gets busy concerning the hidden obstacles of your life.
Friend, this is the WAY to touch heaven and provoke divine intervention today.
You can either opt in or opt out. The choice is yours.
JESUS said:
“He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” – Matt.12:30.
Enough said.

{18:36} God enlarged the steps of all the powerful ministries in Colorado Springs and the Pastor who asked for a prayer of rain under the, that their feet did not slip.

I acknowledge the degree of seriousness in prayer which this Altar Call by Brother Elisha demands of all the prayer Eagles reading this message.
Believe it or not, but foul weather is caused by demons, which means we have authority over them in that area too. I didn’d know of the raging fire in USA until this post. When I read the latest reports on the fire, I had a great revelation that the fire has not been contained since Saturday because of great winds nurturing the fire and other weather conditions like lack of humidity. Even in biblical times,
Job 1:19 tells us of a great whirlwind from the desert that killed Job’s children.
Also, Acts 27:14 tells us of a typhoon type wind that came upon Paul at sea.
As we believe God for rain that will stop the fire, in agreement with Brother Elisha, let us join arms in prayer believing that God will move for Waldon Canyon because of the prayer bullet below:
In the Name of JESUS, I bind all demons that cause tornadoes, lightning, damaging winds, floods, hurricanes, fire, bad weather of all kinds. I bind CHANGO, OXUN, EUROCLYDON, BAAL, SEIR, LEVIATHAN, HADADRIMMON, AMURR, and all others. Father, I ask you to send your warring angels (Matthew 26:53) into the heavenlies to do battle with these demons, to knock them off their thrones, take their crowns from their heads, and to write on their foreheads that they have been defeated by the Lord JESUS Christ. Father, I ask that you send the warring angels to block these demons from coming into Waldon Canyon right now, and to stop the fire immediately! I ask for warring angels to be placed around the remanining properties and homes in Waldon Canyon for protection from these demons. In JESUS Name, I cover all the affected families in the Blood of JESUS.
By the authority vested in me to trample on serpents and scorpions, I call for the windows of heaven to be opened right now and pour out rains to Waldon Canyon, mighty rains that will stop the fire in the name of Jesus.

I just saw the request for prayer and the information that many believers are in the area. Truly the lion has “come out of his thicket” and is operating with boldness against the saints. This is a massive attack, fiery darts. The enemy has come to destroy .. I have prayed and will keep on, for God to stop the fire by rain and his miraculous powers, sending warrior angels to stop the fire. We do not need flood damage, God is in control. Just a comment on needing rain. I believe the pilgrams required rain for their crops – no crops ment complete distruction. They fasted & prayed to present their need to Father God. Yes the Lord does answer prayers. Last month there was a conference outside our country and i did not have the money for both the transport to the conference and the conference fee. Calvary Greetings. I have been wanting to give this testimony about two weeks ago. Sometime back on this site, a Dr. Jane had given her tesimony ongetting a job after doing 7 prayer bullets. I was in need of promotion having been in the same position in my place of work for 3years by 16th April. So I was wondering what to do. I was praying for promotion for myself and my son and appointments for others. The prayers came in handy . i start right away and after a week, someone came and told me I would take over a certain directorate. I did not stop praying the prayer bullets but continued more hemently. But the promotion did not come, end of may, end of June. It was like a voice was telling me to give up but I refused roundly to give up. I prayed the 2nd bullet which says “gates of employment/promotion whatever is holding you from real manifestation in my life , by the unchalleable power of God, crash and open in the name of Jesus”. I carried on for a long time on this and before going on to other bullets always believing that I will have the promotion. At the end of the prayers that night, I felt alot of peace and that I should started thanking God. From then on it was just thanking God using the prayers that I had got from the blog. On te 10th of July, the secretary from my department called to cogratulate me on promotion to a directorate in my University. It was God not me or my boss or my Human helpers. I give honour and glory to him alone. I learnt persistence, never giving room to doubt and thanks giving even when you have not seen anything. I have been praying for my bro who was diagonised with a heart problem two years ago. i stated my prayer on 6th July for 21 days using the prayer points ‘For those who have been given few months to live from prayer cook book. on 13th July my neighbour who also had had a heart problem since childhood had an operation in 2005 and her artery was replaced with an artificial one since that time she has been living on medication. Dear Saints, Am asking for prayers. My life is seriously caged.I’m 38 and divorced twice. I encurred huge debts from both my past marriages. That means all my life since year 2000 todate I hv serious financial problems. I went to courts paid huge sums of monies but never been helped. Even attorneys run away with my money. I took a loan to close off debts and part of it paid some guy who ws to help me to remove my name from credit bureau-he also ran away with my money. I now can’t even pay that loan in full coz of other debts that I’m still paying on the side. I mistakenly made a loan I dnt need and never received the money buy paying installment, very long story. My mom and I nt in good relation coz the devil has bn using her to bring destruction and kill me but she’s unable to do so. I forgave her many times even after realising she was using muthi and all sorts of things to bring me down-i wanted to prove to her that I will honor her as a parent, but she wants my blood. She eventually brought me down when I was hospitalised last year, she had to come to take of my kids, she then had all the time to do her things. When I cm out of hospital, things got worse esp financially- and she likes money. She took my dirty panties with her. Currently I cnt even buy food for my 2 kids. During this winter we saw poverty in this chilly weather, but am working. At work my supervisor want me dead as well. I hv been but to shame and all that u cn imagine. I hv been in and out of hospital with deppression and now am told am HIV positive. I refused this status coz that’s not my portion. I do not have anyone, no family member to ask for help coz they dnt believe I hv problems. Saints, pls I need help seriously. I know I will make it. Last week I visited some pastor, he tlod me I hv a spiritul husband hence men can’t last with me and its a very aggresive one, he said I inherited a lot of things from my mom and my father’s side. Hi Elisha, thanks for your updates on prayers.Im single lady and believing God for a Godly spouse. I know beyond any reasonable doubt that He is the founder of marriages and Godly ones for that matter.
