So Is This For Women Only?

According to the National Institute on Alcohol Recovery, in the US alone 76 million people grew up in a home where someone had a problem with alcohol or married someone with one…

Adding that people who are addicted to alcohol are twice as likely to be divorced than those who don’t have this type of addiction.

In our world you could probably point to someone whose family has become a train wreck because of alcohol.

Proverbs 20 v 1 says:

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”

Alcohol has been causing problems for as long as anyone can remember:

The scripture says this of Noah:

“Noah, a farmer, was the first person to plant a vineyard. He drank some wine, got drunk, and lay naked inside his tent.” – Gen 9:20-21

Even today, under the influence of alcohol many believers have done things that they will forever live to regret. And that includes both men and women.

Many relationships and marriages that started very well have grinded to a screeching halt as a result of alcohol abuse by one partner or the other or both.

You have a secret weapon here …

If you ask many a marriage counselor, they will tell you without hesitation that drinking has ruined many promising marriages and thrown many families into reproach and disarray.

But here is what you might not know…

The Bible says in Matt.6:33:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

This is blessing #1, as far as Heaven is concerned. Everything else is a bonus.

Once your spouse is saved – genuinely saved, that is (as opposed to merely going to church) you’ll be surprised at how many problems in your family will just melt away…

And she has just made my day.

Why?

Because she is now in business.

But not business as usual.

She is in God’s business of changing lives.

Specifically women’s lives.

“Dear Elisha,

I want to say a great big thank you for the program which has so blessed and enlarged me and my family. When I started off the program I was confused and had no idea about what I wanted to do with my life.

I also was one who did not stick to things and was afraid of starting the program and then quitting along the way. I want you to know that I never gave up and continued with the program.

It is now three months later and I am now running a Ladies Deliverance Ministry that I launched four  weeks ago which is growing in leaps and bounds each day.

Praise the LORD.

You know, there are many people like this Italian lady she referred to all around you.

If you look at them carefully with the eyes of the spirit, you will see a desperate, silent cry for help. Though they might pretend all is going well… outwardly.

This is the reason it is important for you to discover your ministry in the Body of Christ so we can all join hands to help set the captives free.

And this is why our training is so rigorous … sort of a spiritual version of a military boot camp … so that you too will be equipped to go out into the big, wide world and minister to the needy and oppressed.

Question is: Have you yet discovered your ministry… or even your purpose in life?

I have a confession to make …

On a different note, it seems there is something that is threatening to swallow up many believers, going by the thousands of email I receive weekly.

Quite frankly I hate this thing with perfect hatred.

I am talking about the crushing mountain of debt in the lives of many believers.

Why do I hate it so?

Because it is a most oppressive form of slavery. The scripture says so, no less.

The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender. – Proverbs 22:7

Many years ago I began to take on certain prayers at the midnight hour. Before long those prayers began to trigger within me a holy hatred for the goliath of debt.

I must warn you though…

When you engage in this type of prayer, it will stir up within you a righteous desire to smash the slave chain of debt and break its shackles from your neck once and for all.

I strongly believe that anyone who succeeds in getting out of debt this year deserves to be celebrated…

… for it takes nothing short of prayer demolition coupled with courageous ACTION to share the kind of testimonies you are about to see now.

I AM DEBT FREE … It Happened Like a Dream

“Elisha God has done it this time around. It all happened like a dream.

I took the 27minute to midnight for 2012 so seriously I needed God to open the gates of 2012 for me. I was so indebted in 2011.With all my resources and income I knew it was going to take me years to pay off my loans.

In 2011 I had this friend who had some parcel of land for sale and I was told if I could get somebody to buy them then I will have a commission. I told every one I knew but no one came for it.

When I started the Golden Journey prayer for 2012, on Jan 05th 2012 somebody called me for just one out of all the parcels of land. He paid for the land on 07th of January 2012. I did not stress and it happened so fast.

Guess what? I have been able to pay off my debts and even have some left over to help others.
Also my desire for God has increased. Elisha, the God we serve answers prayers.

One Problem, Different Solutions…

“Calvary greetings, I have written to give glory to God. By the end of 2010 I had a debt of USHs one million. I joined the Prayer Academy and joined the end of year prayers 2011 / 2012. And by the third week of 2012 I was registered among those that are debt free, and God has kept showering me with finances here and there. We serve the Almighty God.”

Well, the sister did not tell us exactly how it happened for her but this next one does (Note: If you are in any kind of debt, you’ll do well to pay attention to what she was required to do here):

“Last week after doing the normal prayers with fire since I stopped the Prayer Academy until April 25, I had a dream of the Holy Spirit saying:

“Call the bank and ask them to give you 50% OFF from your debts.”

I woke up very excited, but unfortunately I did not have the number to call or even the airtime to make that call, but I believed that it was the Holy Spirit who spoke. Yesterday, which is a week later, I received a call from the bank.

The gentleman at the other end said: “I am calling to offer you 50% OFF from your debts.” I screamed with joy. I thank God because I know this is just the beginning of things to come.

Just imagine, all I managed to do was the Prayer Academy Starter Prayers for one week. How much more will God do when I start on April 25th and complete the Academy…”

Please if you are choking under a mountain of debt, don’t just sit there. Arise and call upon the LORD. And be prepared to take inspired ACTION when He speaks to you.

Stop trying to keep up with the Joneses…
(Bible calls it covetousness)

If HE says you must stop buying things you don’t need (just to keep up with the Joneses)… and begin to live within your means, then that is what you must do. Without further delay.

If He shows you a business opportunity … perhaps in the dream … that will help generate the needed cash flow to settle your debts, then you must be courageous enough to go out and start the business.

If HE tells you:

“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” – Psalm 46:10

Then it means you must NOT fret.

Don’t be anxious.

Keep on trusting Him. And keep on praying with holy aggression.

Be on alert and ready to SWING into quick action when the Spirit of God prompts you.

Because …

Hidden from the common view… behind the scenes… He is working powerfully on your case.

Leave therapy to the therapists.

Send affliction (in whatever way, shape or form) back to its owners – i.e. to the devil and his cohorts!

If you’ve got a stubborn problem that seems to defy logic or reason…

You really need to follow in the footsteps of Happiness.

Hear her:

“Dear Elisha,
last year 2011 I was diagnosed with a disease that affected my brain. I had a problem with memory and could only remember 24hours of events. At one point I totally could not remember my own daughter and she was a stranger to me.

I was hospitalised for sometime, but when I was discharged my memory got worse and I began to hallucinate.

But then I remembered your website to which I had been introduced by one of my lecturers at the University only months earlier. I looked in the mail, you had sent this prayer point

“I command the stars to go to war, let the Heavens fight on my side in Jesus name”

I prayed this prayer point until I was drenched in sweat. To my surprise, after that I was clear headed, even my neurologist is still puzzled at how this happened and I have even just returned to my studies.

Same Prayer, Different Results (All Good)…

The reason we share so many testimonies here is because testimonies give birth to MORE testimonies.

After posting this praise report in our 24-hour prayer blog 2 days ago, a certain Sister Loise decided to try it out.

Here’s what happened just a few hours after the prayer…

“Yesterday after reading the Weekly Case Study #22 in the 24-Hour Blog, the above prayer points struck my mind and a felt a financial breakthrough.  I used the same at mid night and today at 7.30am my former boss called me and said she is sending me 20 thousand shillings…”

This might sound like a joke but…

… there is NO spiritual problem that you cannot solve with the right prayer bullet, as long as you can pray as directed by the Holy Spirit.

You probably first need to learn how to discern the voice of the Spirit before you can pray this type of prayers to the level of breakthroughs.

Sister Happiness actually said …

“I prayed this prayer point until I was drenched in sweat.”

You got any problem that has defied “normal” prayer and fasting? You can use prayers like this one (and many others) to demolish them completely.

That is why this blog series is entitled “Prayer Demolition Series.”

Reality Check: 90 Days Into 2012

Today marks 90 days into 2012.

The year is 1/4 done.

That’s why I’m about to share ONE crucial lesson with you.

But before then, what makes this all worthwhile?

It’s the people.

People like George from Malawi.

He freely admits that he used to doubt all the
testimonies in my daily emails…

… thinking I was just making them up.

He says:

“My name is Geoge Mtonga from Malawi and I was introduced to your website through a friend last year. To be very honest with you I was doubting the testimonies that you send to subscribers via emails.

I was thinking like doesn’t elisha just generate his own testimonies and send them around?

Then the Spirit of God spoke to me to try doing the midnight prayers as directed by you. But I despised the voice of the Holy Spirit and refused to wake up at midnight.

Guess what happened?

On the night of June 5, 2011 at 2:00AM thieves came to our house. They broke the security bars on one of the windows at the living room.

By the grace of God we woke up before they could actually get into the house, so they ran away.

This incident was an eye opener in that I started to realize that my family is in a serious spiritual battle and that as a family we need to rise up and fight. This forced me and my family to begin doing the midnight prayers as coached by elisha and the following are prayer arrows we have been shooting:

a)      You evil personalities standing  against us, receive the judgment of God in Jesus name.
b)      You evil personalities standing against us, we arrest you in Jesus name.

On the night of June 24, 2011 while we were conducting midnight prayers, thieves came again and surrounded our house. One of the thieves, a lady, began knocking at the door and she was praying in tongues.

The rest of them were also praying in tongues on top of their voices. I think they wanted us to think they are part of us so we could open the door for them. But God gave us wisdom not to open the door for them but to keep firing the prayer arrows.

All of a sudden the one knocking at the door got powerless and fell down on the door steps. She started crying “fire on my body!”

She was arrested by fire of the Holy Spirit…

The rest of the thieves started running away leaving her behind on the door steps. Then we easily took her to the police where it was discovered that she was on wanted list by the police. Her husband is also a dangerous criminal in the community.

Please join me in praising God for the victory…

Not bad for someone who started out thinking the true-life testimonies of God’s people on this site were all lies.

Just one tiny incident and this brother is now singing a different tune.

A little later we read:

Jesus said to him,
“Because you have seen Me, have you believed?
Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” – John 20:29


Here’s a spiritual secret
known only to a few…


Do you wonder why I share real, true-life testimonies every day?

Because testimonies give birth to MORE testimonies… in your life and in the lives of all who see with the eyes of faith.

The more you see and rejoice over the testimonies of God’s people, the easier (and faster) it would be for those same testimonies to manifest in your life too.

The devil knows this so he does NOT want anyone to share testimonies that glorify God.

But …

The more we share testimonies and praise reports, the weaker the enemy’s stronghold in your life. And the easier it is to defeat his schemes.

The Bible puts it this way:

“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. – Rev 12:11

Know this: your testimony is a powerful weapon of war in the spirit.

What has the LORD done for you
in the first 90 days of this year?


Please don’t be like so many ungrateful believers who feel that the LORD has not blessed them because they are still going through one problem or the other.

If only you knew what He has been doing behind the scenes, you will jump for joy.

Is the devil telling you that the LORD has not done anything for you yet?

Is he mocking you even now, asking …

-          What have you accomplished these past 90 days?

-          Where are the promises of God?

-          Where are all the answers to all your prayers?

-          Show me, show me, show me…

Well, I am here to assure you that all is NOT lost …

… so long as you’ll CONTINUE calling upon the name of the LORD at the midnight hour!

As we move into the second quarter of this year, I do want to congratulate all of you ACTIVELY engaged in one prayer program or another on this site…

… despite the terrible situations the enemy sometimes throws up in an attempt to discourage and distract you.

You’d better believe this –

Before long you will be sharing your own testimony right here on this site… for all the world to see and glorify the LORD for His goodness upon your life.

A New Car and a Wife (One Year After Prayer Academy)

“It is exactly a year today when I was lead by the Holy Spirit onto your website. By April 25th 2011, I had signed up to and started the Prayer Academy. My life was in total shambles and even though I am a Christian and pray a lot, yet things were getting worst and worst.

Debts had surrounded me and I was still borrowing every month to survive. At my age of 39, was unable to really get a woman of God to date and marry. Even if I had a lady, there was no way I could marry her because I did not have the money.

Indeed I had come to the end of the road and lost all hope and faith in God because I had fasted all the fasting and prayed all the prayers I knew, but was still under serious financial problems and my job was nothing to write home about.

After the Prayer Academy Session my case worsened. Life became more difficult for me.

Some of my friends who I introduced to your site started getting testimonies upon testimonies yet I did not have any testimony to show and was still introducing friends to your site.

1. I took delivery of a brand new saloon car on 21st March 2012

2. I have finally found my wife. This lady has agreed to my proposal and is ready to settle down with me. One thing I love about her is that she is very prayerful and God fearing.

Friend, it is time to shake off every form of spiritual slumber.

Don’t just watch others share testimonies which you can share.

Be up and doing NOW. Some other time may be too late.

You have them. I have them.

Many projects you couldn’t quite
get around to finishing …

… sometimes for years!

Recently P.T. from Johannesburg
was able to release her first CD…

… after trying to do this for years
without success.

Suddenly her life is impacting others around her.

What’s Her Secret?

She says:

“I was invited by a friend to go and address couples and got the shock of my life. My friend who has been struggling to get a house showed me the most beautiful, big house and she said it belonged to her.

While I was still in a state of amazement, she started thanking me. I wondered what she was thanking me for and she said I introduced her to your website.

I even forgot that I had introduced her to your website. She said she and her husband started with midnight prayers as they wanted God to give them a house.

The result was that beautiful big house she was showing me! I was shaken at the greatness of God’s provision.…”

It Doesn’t Stop There …

She is being blessed herself, though she once gave up when her marriage came under a barrage of enemy fire.

Yes, she gave up and went her own way. But not for long.

Let’s see what happened:

“I was introduced to your site a few years ago but have not been able to fully partake as my marriage and ministry were under attack and had given up and went my own way.

A month ago I believe the Spirit of the LORD orchestrated things such that I was in a position where I needed to focus on God.

I seriously engaged in midnight prayers, registered for the Prayer Academy and started the preparatory prayers.

During this time:

1. I release my first CD after trying to do this for years without success! It is impacting people in a very tremendous way! Only God could do that. I used to borrow money every month, this month the proceeds from the CD are helping me and I don’t need to borrow money anymore.

2. I miraculously got a better car than the one I had been driving.

3. Throughout my life I have been continuously rejected by those I loved dearly. As I was praying the foundational prayers of the Academy, I had a dream where God revealed the spirit of rejection and backwardness. I continued to command that spirit to leave me and God gave me Isaiah 62:4.

4. My personal call and ministry took a knock a few years ago due to an attack on my marriage and ministry but it has now been restored.

To God be the Glory.”

This is a powerful Scripture for total restoration…

-         of her virtues (stolen by the enemy)

-         her marriage

-         plus her ministry

Here’s the secret:

This kind of restoration has a way of rubbing off on those who come in contact with her, directly or indirectly. For instance when she prays for others or speaks into their lives, blessings will flow.

You should pray to have believers around you who would encourage you and speak blessings into your life … instead of the opposite.

The music CD she released carries with it a peculiar anointing. When people listen to it, unexplainable blessings will be transferred into their lives!

Wendy is taking part in the ongoing Prayer Academy.

She admits that there were times when she openly questioned whether this type of “rigorous” prayer training was necessary.

Her words:

“I took part in the prayer marathon (which kicks off the Prayer Academy) and prayed at 12 midnight all the time.

I have to be honest there were times when I questioned whether all this was necessary…”

But that was before she found herself facing a sudden major life crisis.

She needed help urgently….

… and that’s when she threw God a challenge

She said:

“Hello Elisha I wrote to you about 3 weeks ago when I started the Prayer Academy. When I started there were so many things in my life that needed change.

I took part in the prayer marathon and prayed at 12 o’clock all the time. I have to be honest there were times when I questioned whether all this was necessary.

I am a prayerful Christian so I prayed a lot sometime even at the midnight hour before being introduced to your site by my mum.

Anyway there are many things I’ve been asking God for during this time of warfare.

My car that I have been using was such a mess. I was always having problems with it till finally the engine gave up on me. I had no money to replace the engine so I didn’t have a car.

I work in another state during the week and have to go home on weekends. So it wasn’t really easy for me.

I started praying for a new car.

To cut a long story short I got my new car today. It’s beyond my wildest expectation. The nicest car I’ve ever used.

I told God that if I got the car by Friday I would send my testimony to you to glorify His name.

God did it. And there are soo many other things happening and I would send all my testimonies to you to glorify my God soon.

Glory be to God. Thank you for availing yourself to be used by God to bless and teach his people. God bless you!”

Now I’d like you to pay attention to 2 noteworthy things in her praise report.

Noteworthy Thing #1:

She was beginning to have doubts.

Serious doubts.

Let me just reassure you that this is very much to be expected.

Especially when you’re boldly trying to re-take territory that the enemy stole from you… when you were too ignorant to fight back.

Do you think the devil will let go easily? Certainly not.

He will angrily instruct his archers to keep firing poisoned arrows of doubt, fear, discouragement, even sickness at you…

… in the hope of harassing you enough to stop you from going after what is rightfully yours.

For instance, see what they did to Joseph here:

“The archers bitterly attacked him, shot at him, and harassed him severely” – Gen. 49:23

They will attack you too, if you have a glorious destiny in Christ Jesus.

That’s why we say anyone telling you that receiving life-changing breakthroughs is easy … might just be pulling your legs!

It takes many battles to live a victorious Christian life.

Noteworthy Thing #2
(Not what you think):

The second point is this:

It was her mom who introduced her to this site.

Let me ask you: if you have friends or loved ones, what are you introducing them to?

Is it worldly things?

Or things that have eternal value?

Did you know that there is a special reward (here and hereafter) for those who help to encourage others to walk the walk of faith?

Did you know that…

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” – Dan 12:3

If you are in the Prayer Academy, you will soon realize that the more you PRAY, the closer you get … to God and His Spirit.

The closer you draw to Him, the more you will hunger and thirst for the deep things of God.

And…

That’s just the beginning.

Before you realize it, other things will follow, even if you are not consciously praying about them.

Remember Matt 6:33:

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

How to be completely debt-free?

That’s because very few people ever pause to consider that many long-standing problems staring them in the face could be solved by something so SIMPLE.

Not one in a thousand people you meet will have a clue about this.

Now I want you to consider carefully what the Holy Spirit told her:

She had delayed to request for this transfer.

How so?

Chalk it up to lack of timely spiritual information.

That’s all that was needed to release her breakthrough from the stronghold of DELAY.

Little did she know that for 12 years the enemy had been playing his old game …

… by craftily (and stealthily) trying to use the issue of work to separate and scatter the family.

Did you see the prayer bullet she fired?

Behind that one prayer are 17 powerful scriptures …

… and immediately she began to pray it like a warrior eagle (notice that the fasting added wings to her prayers), she was able to unlock and activate the full force and power of those scriptures.

This is powerful stuff, praise the Lord!

Her prayers provoked divine intervention and forced a release of the answers to her prayers within 3 days.

The result?

A 12-year-old problem melted away in just 3 days…

Here’s what you need to know…

Every problem you are currently facing has an expiry date. But the enemy fights desperately to DELAY or postpone that date.

And… here’s the good news:

It would take nothing short of a quick targeted prayer attack (energised by the Holy Ghost) to break the cycle of delay and force that date into quick manifestation.

Once you hit the right note (in prayer), don’t be surprised to see problems that had consumed your waking hours…

I’d like to leave you with this thought today…

For every illness, there is a country where it simply doesn’t exist.

For every problem, there is a person who simply doesn’t know it exists.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to seek to uncover the little-known prayers that are programmed to break the stronghold of delay and provoke IMMEDIATE divine intervention and …

…before you can say “Jesus is Lord” you too will be singing the song of victory like Sister Lorna here.

This one will stick in your mind…

Because she discovered a s’ecret elevator to heaven (and you can too)

“Midnight prayer works! It is an elevator to heaven. I have been working for 5 years in a bank without promotion.

The bank that I work in was recently bought over by another bank and we were informed that there was going to be huge staff lay off.

I received the mail by 10pm on the 16th of February. In the mail management said that 1000 people will be promoted and 600 temporary staff will be converted to permanent staff and also very many will be sacked.

At midnight I began to pray using prayer bullet that I compiled from the 2012 turnaround prayer from Elijah Goodman. This is one of the prayer bullets:

” Every satanic chain on my feet hindering me from moving forward, break and burn to ashes in Jesus’ name”.

I fired these bullets till 3am and decreed that while men are cast down that I will be lifted up!

17th February I got to the office. The report: 4,320 were sacked and to the glory of God I was not affected and it gets better, I was promoted after 5 years of stagnation.

Give God praise!”

“At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.” – Psalm 119:62

Of the many snarling pitfalls quietly
swallowing the blessings of 21st century believers,
just one stands out as the most destructive:

Blessing-Swallowing Pitfall #1:

You spend the whole night sleeping.

Instead of waking up at the midnight hour
for spiritual exercises…

… under the erroneous impression that you
need 8 hours of sleep in one stretch…

But did you know that the 8-hour sleep is a
modern invention?

As unnatural as this may sound to you…

… there is a growing body of evidence from both science and history supporting the idea that the midnight hour is when you can tackle the ugliest problems now holding you back.

Like people in ages past you do this while fully awake at the midnight hour.

And I’m not the one saying this.

What you are about to read is culled from a post on the BBC website by Stephanie Hegarty.

She quotes extensively from conversations she had with two world famous academics –

- one a professor of Neurology at Oxford University and the other a cultural historian who published a groundbreaking research on sleep a few years ago.

Science and History to the Rescue…

We often worry about lying awake in the middle of the night – but it could be good for you.

A growing body of evidence from both science and history suggests that the eight-hour sleep may be unnatural.

In the early 1990s, psychiatrist Thomas Wehr conducted an experiment in which a group of people were plunged into darkness for 14 hours every day for a month.

It took some time for their sleep to regulate but by the fourth week the subjects had settled into a very distinct sleeping pattern. They slept first for four hours, then woke for one or two hours before falling into a second four-hour sleep.

Though sleep scientists were impressed by the study, among the general public the idea that we must sleep for eight consecutive hours persists.

In 2001, historian Roger Ekirch of Virginia Tech published a seminal paper, drawn from 16 years of research, revealing a wealth of historical evidence that humans used to sleep in two distinct chunks.

His book At Day’s Close: Night in Times Past, published four years later, unearths more than 500 references to a segmented sleeping pattern – in diaries, court records, medical books and literature, from Homer’s Odyssey to an anthropological account of modern tribes in Nigeria.

Much like the experience of Wehr’s subjects, these references describe a first sleep which began about two hours after dusk, followed by waking period of one or two hours and then a second sleep.

“It’s not just the number of references – it is the way they refer to it, as if it was common knowledge,” Ekirch says.

During this waking period people were quite active. They often got up, went to the toilet or smoked tobacco and some even visited neighbours.

Most people stayed in bed, read, wrote and often prayed. Countless prayer manuals from the late 15th Century offered special prayers for the hours in between sleeps…

…

Notice the last paragraph (in bold) above?

Please note that the researchers in this piece may NOT even be Christians. One of them is a famous historian. The other is a celebrated neuroscientist.

Their ideas are based on scientific and historical facts.

Yet their findings support my clarion call to prayers at the midnight hour… something I’ve been writing about online for the past 7 years.

Up until the 17th century people used to wake up around midnight to pray and meditate on the Word of God.

You see, ignorance is killing the modern man!

This is astonishing, spiritual suicide…

When you read the full report, you’ll find that these professors don’t pull any punches.

In painstaking detail, they fearlessly suggest there might be a linkage between sleep, dreams, stress and depression.

A very close linkage.

With evidence like this all around us, no one has any excuse NOT to wake up and pray.

In fact, you may be committing spiritual suicide if you chose NOT to actively engage your prayer engines at the midnight hour in this year of Power Shift.

The Bible gives us a HUGE hint in Proverbs 6:10-11:

A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest”—

Your poverty will come in like a vagabond
And your need like an armed man.

In a recent post on the blog entitled, Having Trouble with Midnight Prayers? I urged you to train yourself to wake up and call upon the LORD at the midnight hour…

… if you are serious about seeing the manifestation of divine promises in your life anytime soon.

I got a ton of responses in the comments section. They were shockingly revealing, to say the least.

Hundreds of believers wrote in to say they could not wake up to pray at that hour … simply because their body is not used to it.

But as research above shows, your body system will adjust to it if you keep it up for about four weeks.

Here’s the thing…

Quite apart from drawing you closer to God like nothing else could… midnight prayer performs extra duty if you pour your heart into it.

Want a blissful marriage?

Or divine healing for yourself or your loved ones?

The time to do it is the midnight hour.

Are you interested in finally breaking the vicious grip of debt and poverty from your life?

Then the midnight hour is yours for the taking…

Or are you interested in raising godly children and leaving an inheritance of divine favour and prosperity for them?

Then midnight prayer is NOT an option…

It should by now be standard in your spiritual arsenal.

Hear Our Engines Roar

Clint Eastwood declared in the now notorious Super Bowl ad that:

“the world’s gonna hear the roar of our engines.”

There are physical engines such as the one in your car.

But there is also the roar that you hear when aggressive prayer eagles engage their spiritual engines at the midnight hour.

Immediately they begin to roar, be prepared to see the manifestation in the physical world…

-          in signs and wonders…

-          in hard-to-explain miracles and breakthrough.

Snatching Victory from the Jaws of Defeat…

“Dear Elisha,

I lost my job last year around March.

I had 2 loans I was servicing. I have a family, my wife and two kids. My wife was in college, at the time I lost my job. I had just started a printing business, which had not stabilized.

I was on the verge of giving up with debts and no steady income but I had to be strong for my family.  During this period I gave my life to Christ in September 2011, because I was all alone.

All the friend I used to have were not there any more. Not even one former workmate would check to find out how I was. I then came across one of your books through a neighbor at my business place.

I read and I started learning how to pray. It was like a baby learning how to walk.

I even changed the church. I went to one where they pray your kind of prayers. Last year December 21st after your email I embarked on Esther fast. I was so desperate and I really wanted the fastest way out of the debt.


Things went from bad to worse … temporarily!


After the Esther fast, instead of things becoming better it became worse. I could not afford to pay for my house and business premises. There was one day that they almost closed my house because of rent arrears.

My wife cried almost the whole day. Then somebody came and paid it. We thank God. Then they closed my business premises for rent arrears, again the same person came and paid, thanks be to God.

She let God use her.  I remember two days to Christmas I walked 12 km from my place of business to my house because I didn’t have even a single cent to afford even bus fare.

I reached the house and to my surprise God had made provision for the food. At the beginning of the year I did the 14 day prayer fast and gate prayers as per your instructions.

Then immediately I finished, the 14 days, our church was doing 21 days of prayer and fasting which I took on.

To cut the long story short…


At the beginning of this Feb 2012, my wife was called to go start working for a job she never applied for. My business has turned around, and I have just paid my business premises and house rent with money from my printing business.

Remember that this was the business that was almost going down. Even the person who was working for me left in December.

But now I am extremely busy with client. Even my competition are wondering what happened to my place.

Now I can personally relate to what Steve is saying here.

Even if you find this difficult to believe… here’s the truth:

I have walked in Steve’s shoes !

I know what it feels like to be fired from a job, suddenly and without any warning.

I have been there.

I know what it feels like for all your “friends” to desert you at your hour of greatest need. (Don’t forget: even Jesus was abandoned by His friends at Gethsemane).

I have been there.

I even know how it feels to NOT be able to provide for your family.

I have been there too.

I know first hand what affliction feels like…

The good news is that …

You are reading this now because the LORD used those storms of  life … to teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight.

The RESULT?

HE has equipped me (and mandated me) to share the secrets of victory that I learned those many years in the furnace of affliction.

So now you know why the advice and prayers on this site work!

Is the enemy breathing down your neck?

You need to pay close attention to what Steve did.

The devil wanted to push him into

  1. Despair
  2. Confusion
  3. Panic

But instead, the trials and troubles only made him TOUGHER and STRONGER in the spirit.

Frankly this is the MAIN reason that the LORD allows certain situations in the lives of His people.

Without encountering (and overcoming) certain tough situations in your life, you can NEVER become a useful vessel in the kingdom of God.

Remember our dear old Apostle Paul. The tougher the situation he faced, the MORE powerful he wrote and preached!

He ended up writing two-thirds of the New Testament. And today we are all the better for it.

Are you even now in the eye of the storm?


Don’t count yourself out…

The LORD is on your case!

And His glory will soon be revealed in your situation, IF YOU FAINT NOT.

Remember Steve’s testimony here. Remember Apostle Paul.

Let me leave you with this powerful Scripture (penned by good old Apostle Paul):

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
